The one “in memory of Mako” was very heartful…

I don’t believe that there was no acting in this part, it all came from the soul….

    Thank you Alethia…. :)

I wonder if there’s anything that can help a father from losing his own young?

You always hear that fathers should NEVER bury their children…..

I love Uncle Iroh’s tale. They created that episode from the heart and stirred within me sorrow for Uncle Iroh’s son. The voice actor for Uncle Iroh is Mako, he will be missed. It will be a long time until we see another like Mako. He is a great man and has voice acted from his heart to beautifully portray a strong, compassionate and patient character in Uncle Iroh.

You know, I really love almost all of the characters on this show. They all have redeeming qualities even if they’re “on the bad side” (hey, Azula might remind me of my evil jerkface sister, but at least she has cool powers :( ).

I hope Zuko will break out of his shell. He’s so awkward. It’s cute. Same with Toph. It’s horrible, she’s like 12, and I know if she were a real person I’d probably have a crush on her (4 years older here :x ). Actually, probably not if she was 12. Kinda creepy. I guess I just like the way she’s drawn.

This episode was really moving. It was kind of a nice break from the plot. Iroh continues to be one of my favorite characters because of his easygoing, sweet attitude. The Mako text made me really wanna BAAAW.

I’ve never had anything on Nickelodeon make me want to cry before (well, nothing of this quality, in any case). This is probably one of the best damn series I’ve ever watched, next to Doctor Who, and it’s made me laugh and cry a lot more than DW (blasphemy! DW is the superior being!).

So far, from what I’ve been watching (I only started with the first ep a few days ago) it has me hooked. I’m scared to eventually catch up with everyone else and have to wait. Especially since there’s only one chapter left.

Yeah, I think I’m done with the WALL OF TEXT. But I think something this epic deserves my crappy essay.

most people if they went through what iroh did woould probably become sad and cold hearted though he became kind and helpful because he relised that the living things around him were other people with emotions and probably just doesn’t want other people go through the type of pain that he did

ill bet iroh can beat the firelord in a duel.
esspecialy when he escaped from that prison in book 3)

One… I felt bad for Tooh when those girls made fun of her. I’m very mean… but I would never make fun of another persons aperence… that is above name calling.
Two… I got all sad when Iroh started to cry! It was just so sad but special.
Three… Sokka just randomly poping in saying “I was hit in the rear” made me laugh so hard…
Four… I laughed even harded watching Zuko trying to juggle! LOL! That was just too funny. I also don’t think Jin knows how lucky she is… she go to kiss Zuko…
Five… The momo thing made me cry! I felt so bad for him! He really misses Appa!

Toph and Katara: Those girls got what they deserved. Poor Toph.
Iroh: Iroh is one of the coolest characters. The Mako thing made me cry.
Aang: Poor cabbage guy. It seems like he has given up.
Sokka: Wow. Who knew that Sokka likes poetry?
Zuko: I was pissed off with that girl kissing Zuko! Still it was funny when he tried to juggle.
Momo: Awww, that was sad. Poor Momo.

-Mako is the original voice of Iroh who passed away not too long ago, to answer your question jeremynunez.
-I could watch the tale of Iroh a hundred times and it wouldn’t lose it’s powerful morals and emotions. Hat’s off to the producers for this amazing display of comic relief/dramatic irony/pathos in an already hooking anime.
-One more thing; I’m going to miss Combustion Man, his powers were pretty sweet and I thought he might be the one to bring down a major character on the good side, but I guess not. Hey I know that sounds cruel but hey, Admiral Zhao died so I thought it was only fair that somebody like Huu, the swampbender, ceases to exist, but noooo, Cumbustion Man has to blow himself up. Stupid boomerang.

    wow.
this is one of my favorite episodes ever.
i never knew who mako was until i read these comments though hah.
Toph and Katara:i love toph. shes so awesome, sarcastic and hilarious. and katara is pretty awesome too. its weird because they never really seemed to get along before this episode.
Iroh:oh dear. every time i watch this episode it still brings tears to my eyes. even just thinking about it is making them a bit watery.
Aang:hah, the cabbage man is just sol all the time.
Sokka:i loved this one! it was hilarious, especially the line: like i paddle my canoe, i’ll paddle yours too!
Momo:i feel bad for poor momo and appa cause he went through a rough time.
i wish i wouldve gotten hooked on this series when it first came out.
